To every single person who says the situation in Palestine is two sided

here are a few things for you to look at

  • After only a week of this the casualties have been 205 dead Palestinians (80% civilians, and at least 34 children) and more than 1500 wounded and around 900 homes destroyed, over a 100,000 dislocated, while on the Israeli…

This is how me and my family are living these months.

My mom has a great job but doesn’t make enough to support all five of us. She’s working extra hours but it isn’t enough and with school starting for my brothers and them needing over priced uniforms, we’ve all reached the end of our rope.

On top of this, my mom also has diabetes and sometimes has trouble getting the money for her medication. And as people who have/are dealing with this kind of disease you know that everything is so much more harder for her. When she gets a paper cut it can last a month and when she gets caught in the rain, she is guaranteed to get sick and as she says so many times “[she] cannot afford to get sick”.

Right now we are trying to move from this house into a smaller, more affordable one but the chances of that happening anytime soon are dwindling. In addition to this, my mom wants to visit our sick grandfather in New York who has multiple myeloma. If anyone who has heard of this would know that it affects your organs and there is no cure for it. We are all hoping for one last visit before he passes on.

I’m asking that you please help us. I don’t like this life for my brothers who have to wonder if it was okay that they are ramen for breakfast or that my mother can’t see her father one last time. Anything and everything you donate will be used to help my brothers and mother have an easier more enjoyable life.

I have set up a fundraiser and a paypal on my blog. Again, anything and everything you can spare will be much appreciated and if you cannot donate, please share this so that it gets around.

Sisters/Brothers/Siblings,

My name is Janit, and I have just been diagnosed with a pretty heavy hitting terminal brain cancer called Grade III Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma. I had neurosurgery to remove the tumor, but it’s not treatable by that alone, and honestly, it doesn’t respond well to other treatments either. The battle is going to be long, hard and exhausting. The average life expectancy is 3 1/2 years. I do not have a good relationship with my family, mostly due to my queerness, and am very scared of having to go home to them for care and living the remaining life I have left in a hellhole. I cannot work and was denied disability, making a lot of things hard to pay for. I am asking you for help. Below is my GoFundMe account where you can donate money to help me with things like rent, food, medical care, and therapy. Anything and everything helps. I am already overwhelmed with the generosity that has been given to me, but the care I need is expensive. I am lost and doing the last thing I can think of, asking the universe to provide and hoping that it does. I am young, scared shitless and begging for your help. If you cannot donate, I would appreciate if you could give this a signal boost. Help in any and all forms is immensely appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Feel free to follow me and watch my story unfold. I love and need friends right now

HIV Has Been Cured in a Child for the First Time

HIV Cure: New Drug ‘Vacc-4x’ May Become First Functional Cure Against the Virus

The Man Who Had HIV and Now Does Not

This is HUGE news, and of course no one is talking about it because it is not a part of popular culture. For the first time in the history of the world, there is a possible preventative cure for one of the most deadliest viral diseases to have entered the human gene pool. There is hope for those who have been diagnosed with a disease that may have given them only 20 or so years to live. This breakthrough in the science/pharmaceutical community means that other viral diseases and genetic mutations that were once incurable are now on the table for complete eradication. I’m absolutely seething that no one is talking about this on the news 24/7.

and while this is hella important, herpes is getting complex to the point there is no cure or no way to work with it.

I really need both of these to go viral.

Recently I watched the Movie “Captain Phillips” and it made me think about how these so called Somali “Pirates” are being portrayed by the media. I can remember how terrible different Media outlets tried to make Somali people seem when American and European ships started to get robbed while at sea a few years ago. They made it seem as if they were just savages and thieves and that’s just how they chose to live, but the truth is that the Somali People that are viewed as “Pirates” and terrorists were really just taking a stand against a complete invasion from America and Europe.

Somalia’s Government collapsed and the U.S. and Europe saw this as an opportunity to do what they’ve done throughout history and that’s to steal the resources away from the Somali people as their seas were now unprotected. America and Europe started dumping nuclear waste into the waters which caused the Somali people to get extremely sick. Somali babies started to be born with deformities and their people were getting rashes and dying from the contaminated ocean water. The nuclear waste that was in Barrels that washed ashore can be tracked back to The U.S. and Europe. While dumping waste they were also taking all the millions of dollars in seafood from the ocean ruining the income and livelihood of Somali fishermen causing countless more Somali people to starve.

Somali People were never savages, they were forced into dying or fighting back and they chose to fight. They did what they could to provide for their people and protect their resources. They had order when they took over ships their goal wasn’t to hurt anybody and they often didn’t, they just wanted to stop the invasion, pollution, and retrieve a profit that was stolen from them initially. You gotta respect that. Never believe what a racist society has to say about your people. SanCopha!
